My World Needs You

Terror, Attack, Chaos, Confusion, Depression………. Daily this is what we constantly hear from news reporters, around the world globally. We are constantly bombarded by news that brings fear and intimidation to hearts of people. Despite, all that’s going on there are change agents rising. Truly, I believe that light will continue to shine brighter as darkness gets thicker. My World Needs You. There’s a deep cry in the hearts of men to bring transformation, hope to the lost, direction to the confused mind and vision to the person who can’t see the future. It’s time for you to arise and be the light people look up too. Every superhero doesn’t transform in the public eye but rather in private. Once they transform in private, the world sees their heroic traits and discover who they truly are. Many are living their normal lives unknown to them that there is a superhero inside of them. Goodbye Clark Ken and Hello Superman.

Inasmuch, we need to see heroic people in our world, we must be sensitive to the needs of people. Living life to the maximum will not be possible, unless people become aware of their nuclear surroundings. When I say, “My World Needs You”, I mean they need someone who will demonstrate genuine love, good ethics, and values, a person of integrity, credible leadership, embrace relationships and friendships etc. God has placed us in this world to be light bearers and salt influencers.

You are the light that gives light to the world. A city that is built on a hill cannot be hidden. And people don’t hide a light under a bowl. They put it on a lampstand so the light shines for all the people in the house. In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:14-16 NCV

Today’s worldview has been tainted with vigorous negativity, which beclouds our viewpoint to see possibilities. As we hope to see a better world, let us be the change we want to see in our world. The change starts with us. Let us look at the few tips our world needs.

Firstly, our world needs to know God’s love and His relevance to humanity. The human mind cannot comprehend nor fathom the depth of God’s wisdom nor His unconditional love for the fallen nature of man. Our minds can only handle a microcosm of God because science has tried to explain God and even prove His existence. He is real, alive and relevant to mankind in the 21st century. Yes, you may ask “If God loves us, why is there evil and what is His relevance to me?” The answer is His relevance is vital, yes there’s evil in the world, that is due to man’s sinful nature and free will given to man to choose – good or evil. God extends His love towards us in various ways – through His Son Jesus Christ, creation, humans, intellect etc. making humanity come to the realisation of a supreme God whose relevance is needed in our day to day lives. It takes a loving God to dispense by demonstrating His relevance in our world

Secondly, we see the need for good ethics, values, and integrity. Ethics, Values, and Integrity. Three words, which echo louder than words but rather more in action. They are major in the role of moral principles – which is the main essence of this point. The values you hold, reveals the ethics you live which is portrayed by the level of integrity you have as an individual. Ethics is defined as, “moral principles that govern a person’s behaviour or the conducting of an activity”. Principles that govern your life must be built on solid foundations that will cause you to soar in life. Ethics and Values go hand in hand as they help you to live a life of integrity – be true to yourself. The ability to be true to one’s self, is scarce today which has resulted in people living in photoshopped worlds and embracing fake lives. So the need for good values in our world is critical. The principles we hold reveals our personal integrity which is portrayed by the ethics we hold.

Thirdly, Quality Relationships & Friendships. No man is an island, yet the notion of friendship and relationship is a query on the hearts and minds of people. Today’s generation has lost the true essence of friendship – what it means to have a friend and to have healthy relationships. We constantly see news of wrecked and shattered relationships and friendship. The media industry has turned this into reality tv entertainment, which then has a negative effect on today’s youth and millennials. As technology advances, we notice the reduction of quality friendships and relationship – now everyone has a cyber friend. My question is can you talk to a cloud? Quality friendships stem from a kind, genuine and pure heart. If you want to have friends, be friendly.

One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” – Proverbs 18:24 NIV

Quality friendships are rare to find. Friendship isn’t an add or poke on Facebook or a quick like on Instagram. Friendship is a journey. Friendship is often based on mutual respect or interest but over time they evolve and become long-lasting. The test of every friendship and relationship is how well they built their foundation. Friendship gives you the ability to be a pillar of support to someone. Quality relationships allow you to help, discover, refrain and package your skills, talents, and giftings. Quality friendships and relationship opens the door for improvement.

As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” – Proverbs 27:17 NLT

Unconditionally love is the basis of quality friendships and relationship. Profaned love is toxic and can ruin friendships. Instruction, Correction, and Reproof are part of the package if you want to have a friend. A friend that can lie in your face, is not worth sharing your secrets too.

It is better to correct someone openly than to have love and not show it.” – Proverbs 27:5 NCV

Out of love you protect your friend. Truly faithful are the wounds of a friend.

Wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy.” – Proverbs 27:6 NLT

Beware of friends whose truths are lies and whose knives are rather bullets. Quality friendships and relationship helps breaks isolation and moments of being or feeling alone. Never do the journey of life alone, you need people – the right people. Every relationship or friendship must flow out of a heart of genuine love for one another – without partiality and hypocrisy. When you have the right friendships and relationships around you nothing can break it. Whoever said, three is a crowd is a lie because a threefold cord is not easily broken ( Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NLT

The words you speak in friendship and in your relationship, must edify and bring sweetness. A word from you friend must uplift and bring calmness to storms in your life. Let your words become sweet fragrances that bring a smile their faces.

The sweet smell of perfume and oils is pleasant, and so is good advice from a friend.” – Proverbs 27:9 NCV

Pray to have quality friends, destiny helping friendship and long-lasting relationship.

Fourthly, Good Leadership. Our world is in a leadership crisis. Leaders have risen highly and fallen greatly. Presidents have come and gone. Prime Ministers have come and gone. People we’ve esteemed in high places have failed us greatly. No amount of UN, G8, WEF meetings can replace the leadership crisis our world is facing today. First of all, let me start by saying leadership isn’t a positional vocation – it’s a functioning one. Many people who have risen to leadership only rose to the title, not the function. A title doesn’t mean anything if there aren’t any results that follow afterward. Leaders are results-oriented. Leaders take on the burden of the people and ensure that there is a provided solution to difficult challenges. Leadership is a journey, a process, a lifetime. No man or woman fully arrives at the place of fulfilment in leadership. Leadership is an ever-learning process. Good leadership starts with yourself. You cannot lead anyone until you can lead yourself. You must be able to stir the ship of your life in order to lead your life. Personal leadership is the premise and the beginning of all leadership. Good leadership starts with when you awaken the gifts dormant inside of you. Good leaders create more leaders rather than followers. Preparing tomorrow’s leaders today is the premise of good leadership. Leadership is my personal passion and life’s mission.

Lead with THREE things in mind:

I encourage you to purchase books on leadership and my favourites are as follows ‘ Developing the Leader within you’ by John C Maxwell, ‘Good to Great’ by Jim Collins and ‘The 5 levels of leadership’ by John C Maxwell.

Finally, Solution Providers. The world needs solution providers. Times have changed and seasons are shifting. There was a time where people acknowledged an attempt to prevent an issue or a problem. In today’s world of rapid innovation and high technology, problem acknowledgment isn’t enough. Solution providers are the game changers now. Providing solutions to daily problems is a major asset in today’s job and business market. Being solution-oriented means that you not only prevent a futuristic problem but you dissolve the crisis and worries people face on a daily basis. Uber is a solution provider. Apple is a solution provider. Microsoft is a solution provider. Google is a solution provider. All the social media platforms are solution providers (just don’t abuse the platform for evil as some do already). Breaking the mould that life puts you is what causes solution providers to arise. Reinventing the wheel in most cases isn’t the solution to solve problems. However, use the wheel and finding a creative way to change the way people do things is a result of providing solutions. Blockbusters went bust because it failed to keep up with current trends, technology allowed the likes of Netflix to make watching films and tv shows earlier than rentals. Solution providers arise when problems arise. You must be a solution provider. Create, Package, Market, Money. Don’t feel inferior nor intimidated by people who are making money by solving people’s problems. Stay focused on your unique role in life. Everyone’s path is different. An idea will come to you that will change a generation. The ounce is for you to look out for opportunities. If they don’t come create it and you will be rewarded for it.

My World Needs You. Yes, it really does. Average won’t do it. Ordinary won’t do it. My World Needs God. My World Needs Good Ethics, Values and Integrity. My World Needs Quality Friendships and Relationship. My World Needs Good Leadership. My World Needs Solution Providers. My World Ultimately Needs You. You are an extension of God on earth. Let society see the light in you, through you and by you. Let’s Go Get Em

Worth Fighting For

The song above is one of my favourite songs I listen too. It’s a song which ministers to the Spirit man and touches the soul. Moments when I’m disgraced this song is the plug! Life is full of ups and downs. However, I’ve been able to listen to this song 🎶 it makes me go military. The words in itself as profound, “Worth Fighting For.” These are three words; we must be able to ask ourselves whenever we are going through tough challenges when your back is up against the wall, and you don’t know how you’re going to make it. These words sound rhetorical as it makes you think about what are the important things to you. Worth Fighting For means that you will not stop at nothing to get what you want. You will stop at nothing till you see your loved ones succeed. Worth fighting for should build a resolve in you to fight for what’s right and take a stand. Throughout history from the Bible to present day, there’s been something in the heart of man that makes him or her fight for justice, do the right thing, triumph against all the odds and bring liberation to captive citizens.

Let’s look at the various things we must do to keep FIGHTING for what’s right, bigger and to do the impossible.
Nothing is worse than losing a fight you ought to have won. There are qualities you must harness and develop to win every fight. Today’s fight will prepare you for tomorrow’s trophy. Aim at breaking through every battle and gaining new strategies to win every fight. Here are a few pointers, we must do to keep fighting for what’s ours.

FAITH. “Life is a series of thousands of tiny miracles. Notice Them“. – Unknown. One of the surest things that have kept me sane and stable in life is my faith. Faith is believing and hoping in the fact that, no matter what comes. When you have faith, you will fight every battle knowing that victory is awaiting you. Despite the struggles we go through, it’s our belief that sees us through. In the journey of life, if you want to stay on course build your faith! Your faith is powerful. If you are worth fighting for, then develop your faith. Each man and woman will be put to the test. Faith isn’t on display when things are going well but rather when things go the total opposite. In the words of the greatest apostle of the New Testament, I summons you with this charge. No matter what you go through, “Fight the good fight of FAITH.”

FOCUS. “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.” – Socrates

Focus is the ability to avoid distractions while you’re pursuing a worthy goal. Focus is what separates the winners from the losers. The word has become a free word which makes it lose the value of its name. Focus is setting your heart, mind, and eye on a particular task, you’ve embarked on. The fights you’ve lost, you ought not to have lost if you were focused. Imagine, driving on the M25 where there rarely is a hard shoulder to stop. You are in the middle lane and you hear your phone ringing as you’re driving at 80mph. You turn your head to the back seat and suddenly you lose control and collide with another car on the far left lane. A broken focus is the beginning of accidents. Focus makes you disciplined and prioritizes what’s of most importance. Don’t give your attention to everything. Streamline your life by an emphasis on the future you desire. Live a life of “laser-like” focus.

FIGHT. “I’ve been fighting seen I was a child. I am not a survivor; I am a warrior“. – Unknown. “The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us but those who win battles we know nothing about.” – Unknown

Life is a battlefield. In the journey of life, there comes a time where you must FIGHT for what’s yours. Don’t take life too easy nor let it be too casual for you. If you want to win and get the golden gloves, boy you better beat the crap out of the guy. Yes, I believe there’s a time for everything the wisest man in the Old Testament stated that King Solomon (Ecclesiastes 3:1). However, he also mentioned, “a time for war and a time for peace.” (Ecclesiastics 3:8). You’ve got to be deliberate and aggressively fight for your territory. Never go into a fight without any rewards. The greater the fight, the greater the reward. Don’t let life pass you by, and you’ve not fought a battle and won. Develop a warrior spirit and a lion heart! Worth fighting for means that you will fight till you see your dreams fulfilled. You will fight till your family succeeds in life. You will fight till you get that scholarship. You will fight till you get that degree, masters, professional qualification. You will fight! Don’t rest or relax, roll up your sleeves. Look at your goals, visions, dreams, and future in the face and yell, “I WIN, I TAKEOVER, I AM A WARRIOR.”

FLIGHT. “Eagles don’t take flight lessons from chickens.” – Unknown. “Haters like parrots, talk too much but cannot fly. Dreamers like Eagles, say nothing but conquer the skies“. – Unknown.

It’s time to SOAR! It’s time to take off and fly high in the things, and God has called you to do. Don’t allow distractions to deter you away from soaring. The ultimate aim for everyone in life is to SOAR. You cannot fly high in life by merely talking. You’ve got to take the necessary steps that will launch you into a world of possibilities. The chickens around us talk us out of our dreams and aspirations. The parrots around us always speak of the issues that surround us. However, EAGLES SOAR! They use the negative words and convert it to kinetic energy allowing it to gain force and momentum. In the journey of life, you will need to gather all the momentum you need to help you reach the place God has for you. Surround yourself with Eagles. Dream big. It is possible. Despite how your plans may have gone, re-strategize and find a new way that will help you stay on course. Don’t let the eagle inside you cluck, when it ought to be soaring! It’s time to SOAR.

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 NLT
In conclusion, I believe that you’ve been challenged and stirred up in your heart to pursue your vision unapologetically, to overtake in every area and to recover all as you SOAR to your next level.

New Year, New Month, New CODE

You’re tuning into crack the code,” yelled the announcer. Roberto sat in front of the television waiting for the contestants to show up. Roberto always tuned into this program as it was his custom. While sitting comfortably on his sofa, the contestants appeared on the show. Their names were Aaron, Brooklyn, Chanel and Diamond. The host of the show gave a question which each of the contestants had to answer. The question is to crack the word “CODE” and for the meaning to be applicable for daily living. The person who breaks the code will win £86,400. The host gave each contestant 10 minutes individuals, once the minutes were up. Each participant attempted it and failed. Whereas Roberto was watching it and he cracked the correct CODE, and it was Commitment, Order, Discipline, and Energy. It was a light-bulb moment that hit Roberto on his sofa. He was shouting at the TV, “oi I’ve got the code, I know it. I want to win that money, and I can win that money, I know the formula.” Unfortunately, the show was ending in 5 minutes, and there wasn’t an opportunity to call a contestant at home. Roberto sat down and felt disappointed at not winning the money. While he sat on the sofa, he realised that the CODE and the money was an answer to how you spend your day and to value – time, money and efficiency. Once Roberto caught that he changed his lifestyle and began to utilise the CODE principle.

Roberto’s life can be a snapshot of our daily reality. Often, we know the answer to certain issues in life, but we hide and shy away from opportunities that will display our genius. Every year grants us the opportunity to make known to humanity our inherent and dormant potential. If the skills, abilities, talents and gifts are going to go to another level in this new year and phase of your life – you must implement this CODE. Don’t sit down on a comfy sofa or chair – knowing all the answers to simple issues and life problems but never taking that step to implement them. It is unethical. Start cracking the CODE and using it in your everyday lives. The way you implement this will determine how effective you have made 2017. So let’s embark on cracking the CODE.

Firstly, the letter “C” stands for Commitment. Commitment is defined as, “the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc.” Commitment is the ability to stay devoted to a cause. Commitment helps you to be stable. Every new year and a new month have come with its blessing and trial. For you to break the CODE and the limits people have set for you or you have set for yourself, you’ve got to be committed. Don’t fake your commitment – it will show in due time. Be devoted to a cause that will develop you Spiritually, be dedicated to a vision for your personal development, be steadfast to achieving all that you’ve begun to do. So no matter what comes your way – be committed 24/7. Commitment allows you to go the extra mile.

Secondly, “O” stands for Order. Order, order, order. I know for some, this five letter word is a slap on the face or the words you hear from your parent, coach or teacher. Order! Have you ever wondered why the light was created? Or why laws are put in place or even created? It’s because of one thing – Order. Light is designed to dispel darkness, so you can see clearly and navigate your way through life with clarity. Laws are in place so that we can live an ordered and principled life. People that break rules whether it be governmental or universal in their mental faculty they can’t comprehend order or being structured. Order brings structure, stability, and discipline. Order is the first principle of growth, excellence, and innovation. Order beautifies your life. Each day in this year, implement strategies and insert order into chaotic environments and watch things turn around. “Be regular and orderly in your life, so that you may be violent and original in your work.” Gustave Flaubert

Thirdly, “D” stands for Discipline. “Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.” – Jim Rohn
Confidence comes from discipline and training.” – Robert Kiyosaki

In this journey of life, discipline is what will set us apart from those who live mediocre lifestyles. Discipline is one of the paths we often avoid and overlook because it’s one of the most tasking thing to do. However, the key to achieving personal excellence is by being disciplined. Regulate your life – bring order into chaotic and cloudy areas in your life. Once the order kicks in, exert discipline. Discipline connects you to greatness. The road less travelled is the road many don’t want to take, but they know that it will do them good in the end. You’ve got to simplify your life; you can’t do everything – discipline your life. Discipline allows you to focus. Many people’s focus has been distorted and misguided – this often comes when there is a lack of discipline. Learning how to say ‘No’ without feeling guilty and saying ‘Yes’ to the Best. Discipline is a skill which strategist use to bring change and increase their personal excellence.

Finally, “E” stands for Energy – Potential. “The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.” – Confucius
Your past is not your potential. In any hour you can choose to liberate the future.” – Marilyn Ferguson

This point is so crucial because you may implement all the things mentioned above BUT if you don’t exert your energy and release your inherent potential to do the impossible, it will continue to lay dormant. Many people live their lives on routine, and they have no drive, no direction, no structure – so they continue to live the same life, day in day out and year in, year out. Potential awaits you – but you must realise it and release it. Be excited about your vision, dream, and goals. You can receive all the motivation and inspiration from YouTube, like all the likeableness on Instagram, share all the messages and posts on Facebook or even fill your timeline will multiple hashtags on Twitter, but if you don’t work and use your inherent potency, it will collect dust. Many people don’t know what they have until it gets lost. Don’t be those who are still looking for something that is far away whereas it’s within arm’s reach. Once, you release your potential – the energy and the spark awakens. Every engine needs oil for it to lubricate and start in one ago. If you don’t polish or revamp your dreams, desires, and visions, they will be broken down, and you will not be able to function effectively. Don’t allow the dreams of your heart, the visions in your spirit to collect dust and lay dormant. RISE like an EDIFICE! Release your inherent potential! The world is waiting to see you manifest!

As we stand on the brink of the 1st quarter of 2017, implement new strategies for you to grow and increase. Don’t leave anything to chance. Don’t allow fear to move you to make decisions. Break the mould! Exert the godly wisdom in every decision you make. Be committed to doing the achievable, be structured and ordered in everything you do, discipline – nothing more, nothing less and release your inherent potential!

For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), [a]recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].” – Ephesians 2:10 (AMPC)

I can do all things through Christ, because he gives me strength.” – Philippians 4:13 (NCV)

Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—” – Ephesians 3:20 (AMPC)

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. It’s a time where enemies become friends, where bygones become reunited, where joy and hope is restored. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. The atmosphere is filled with so much joy, and the songs bring warmth to your heart. Inasmuch, as it’s a month full of great buzz in the air for some, it’s a time of reflection. Looking back at the year, how 2016 has been for them, what they are going to do in the upcoming year – reminiscing and reflecting.

During this festive season of Christmas and as we cross over into another year – 2017 it’s essential that we REFLECT and look at how the year has been and how to make each day, month and year effective. The essence of reflection came metaphorically from the mirror and how we look, observe and look at life when we look at ourselves in the mirror. When we look at the mirror, we see only one image, one identity, one portrait and one reflection. Anything that reflects is worth observing. It’s amazing to know that as one reflects on the life and its various challenges that it makes us look back and see how far we’ve come and where we are going. Moments of reflection bring us to the grand design – God. When we reflect on, how we’ve been able to overcome trials, tribulations, and trauma in our life it allows us to look back and say that God has a master plan behind all of this.

Using the mirror principle and as a metaphor, questions of identity, purpose, vision and destiny arise. Who am I? What do I see? How do I feel? Where am I? Where do I belong? Questions upon question arise. These are results of the thoughts in our mind as we reflect on our life on a daily basis. However, once we have a clear viewpoint of who we are, we will be able to have a clear vision of who we are, whose we are and to whom we belong too. In addition to this, our time of reflection must stem from a place of thankfulness and look at the grand design God has for our lives. The grand design of God is better than our temporary plans because His plan and design is the greatest. God created us in His image, so our moments of reflection must bring us back to the blueprint – God’s master plan for our lives. So that we have a clear picture of what He wants us to do.

As we proceed, here are a few things we should do when we are in our moments of reflection. FIRSTLY, discover whose we are – this speaks of our image. “And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion…” – Genesis‬ ‭1:28‬ ‭(American Standard Version). We live in a society and world which has an identity crisis. People get their identity from social media – the ever increasing growth of likes on Instagram makes you a don, the large views on YouTube mean that you’re making waves and the snapchat which allow you to snap all the Flemish bottle drinks as you like but never adding value to the individual. Our identity is in Christ. The discovery of who we are in Christ allows us to live a life of hope. Once you realize and discover whose, you are the more you grow. The image you behold is what you become.

SECONDLY, allow the word of God to mirror our lives and bring correction. “Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like. But whoever catches a glimpse of the revealed counsel of God—the free life!—even out of the corner of his eye, and sticks with it is no distracted scatterbrain but a man or woman of action. That person will find delight and affirmation in the action.” James‬ ‭1:22-25‬ ‭(The Message Bible). The scripture above embodies the essence of the word of God to bring correction and live the Word not just hear the Word. The Word of God is the mirror, in other parts of the scripture it’s a “purifier”, “The LORD’ s words are pure, like silver purified by fire, like silver purified seven times over.” – Psalms‬ ‭12:6‬ ‭New Century Version. Anytime we allow the Word of God to bring correction to our lives we are gradually removing the impurities and the blackheads off our face to allow the good light from within to break and shine through us and in us.

THIRDLY, we can change our perspective of life. “As water reflects your face, so your mind shows what kind of person you are.” – ‭Proverbs‬ ‭27:19‬ ‭(New Century Version). As time goes by, our perspective of life tends to fluctuate. Others tend to have a 2D approach to life whereas others have a 3D approach. They look at life with a different perspective. Our point of view matters because it defines who we are and how we live our lives which ultimately dictate the values we hold. Our view of life is often triggered by what goes on in our hearts and mind. The scripture above states that “Just as water mirrors your face, so your face mirrors your heart.” (The Message Bible). Changing our perspective of life will mean going back and revisiting old myths you didn’t want to confront and have a 3D perspective on it. Our perspective of life should bring us to understand the true essence and meaning of life. How our minds and hearts need to be renewed daily, as we live in a corrupt world void of the wisdom of God which helps us to have a 3D perspective for life. So whatever, you’re thinking about let it reflect the right thoughts in your heart and mind. “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” ‭Philippians‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭(King James Version).

FOURTHLY, we can go from glory to glory. “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” ‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭(King James Version). I love this statement Dr. Dipo Oluyomi states, “What you BEHOLD is what you BECOME.” Going from glory to glory is imperative. Whatever you think about and place in front of you is what you become. When we say we are going from “glory to glory” it means that we continually fix our eyes on Jesus and as we do so we become radiant. “Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:5‬ ‭(New Living Translation). Our radiance comes when the light of God’s reflection shines through us to others. Shine continually as you remember, reminisce and reflect on how God has been to you. As you do so, your image and status is changing from glory to glory.

So may this festive period bring joy, peace, and hope. As you look back on how 2016 has been, the obstacles you’ve had to overcome and the trials that turned to victories. Fix your eyes on what’s ahead – 2017 is going to be a great year. Reflect and see how far you’ve come and strategize for the coming days ahead. As you are reflecting and putting the building blocks for your 2017, do the following – PRAY, PLAN, PREPARE & PURSUE.

Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God has done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your many blessings, see what God has done.
And it will surprise you what the Lord has done.”

Take The Lead

In today’s world there is a need to be noticed, identified and the centre of attraction. This has caused today’s youths to be force to reckon with on all levels. Everyday on billboards, in the media, politics, business, religion we can see the essence to be a force to reckon with in the 21st century. Times have changed, methods needs to corrected and a strategy must be in place to bring about national and global change.

Today’s world is tomorrow’s future and the future is now. Over time, there’s been a decline in youths taking part in major & minor events that can bring transformation to their local community and society.
In the increasing demands to gain popularity, the way today’s youth think has evolved over time. Today’s youth often times, get their status and rep from social media and other forms of media. This has not only becoming a tool in the hands of today’s youth but a weapon to get the voices of today’s youth heard. One tweet can go viral and a hashtag on Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and Facebook can get the attention of the world in a split second.

Inasmuch, as social media has become an avenue for today’s youths to make their voice heard. However, I believe that today’s youth can take the lead and change the course of History. It’s time for a new breed of vibrant, focused, determined and courage people to emerge and take the LEAD and ignite the passion that be a revolutionary in their generation.

Taking the lead will mean that you do something that’s out of the box. Something unique, that will bring about a revolution in your generation. I’d like to look at the acronym for LEAD and this will inspire you to take the lead and be the chosen one in your field of expertise.

L – learn. Life is a continuum and you will need to keep learning to make necessary improvements. Every developing leader is a learning leader. What you are not informed about, can increase your influence or diminish it.
Taking the lead will mean that you take on a learning attitude. What you learn today, will better your tomorrow. Learning is an art. Challenge yourself to learn something new that will be you ahead of the game.

The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice. – Brian Herbert
The wise will hear and increase their learning…” – Proverbs 1:5 (AMP)

E – Embrace good change.
Change isn’t easy, nor is it smooth but it’s a process. Embracing good change will mean you set the pace  for others to follow. Good change enables you to sharpen your skills. Embracing good change will occur when your peers have go off to Uni, work aboard, furthering their personal development etc. You’ve got to embrace that change because scarcity increases value. Good change brings good results. Embracing good change will mean you break out methods that didn’t work, and find solutions to sustain it.

A – Aspire to be Great. You are great and greatness is within you. If you want to be a person of prominence and influence emulate those who have become it and be better at it. Aspiring to be great, is a choice not a wish. If you want to be a world class athlete it will cost you – time, money, talents and skills. Usain Bolt prepared a good 4 years till he became a world phenomenon in 2008 until now. No one may know you now but aspire to be great and one day you will be Great. You’re greatness announces you to the world.

Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.” – William Shakespeare

D – do what you do with excellence.

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.” – Confucius

Every emerging leader must do things from a place of passion. The passion you do things reveals your level of excellence. Do things with excellence, whatever your passionate about raise the stake. Be professional about your passion because excellence is the fuel that will cause you to achieve success.
Taking the lead will mean anything that brings you joy and brings transformation to others. Excellence allows you to lead your generation and become a pioneer. Excellence lifts you above your competitors. The recent Olympics in Rio has taught me, that what you do consistently in private will be rewarded in public. Excellence works behind the scenes  and the world will watch your success.

In closing, take the Lead and be the light in your community. Your voice is needed in society, the world needs a new breed of bold, vibrant, creative & innovative people who will take the LEAD.
Take the LEAD, be in the number but never other numbered, be an agent of global change, be a part of the revolution – You’re next!

Carpe Diem

Conviction, Build & Influence

Welcome back, “wisdomforthefuture”, are excited for the new and fresh material to edify, empower and encourage people. This is a year, go after your dreams and pursue it passionately and be unapologetic about motives which will lead you towards your desired haven.
It’s amazing how a new year and a new month awakens so many prospects that get abandon in the second month of the year. Each month in this new year – including February, must bring you closer towards your desired haven. Our desired haven is a place of rest and fulfilment. On our journey in life, we must never lose our momentum. This energy gives us the ability to build inner qualities; that will enable us to achieve greatness. As I thought about a new blog for this month C.B.I came to mind. C.B.I stands for conviction, build and Influence. This acronym is to build momentum and allow you to set your eyes on the prize and pursue your dreams and ROAR like a Lion.

Despite the challenges we face our convictions shape our beliefs; which we continuously develop ourselves and Influence others. C.B.I could be a method, a formula or a strategic approach which can be used to help you arrive at the place of destiny. Define your destination and refine your goals to align with your purpose and vision.

Now, as we proceed let us break down C.B.I, the first is…

Conviction. This speaks of inner confidence, strong beliefs which come from the heart. Your convictions are a mirror of who you are; and a product of your reality. Life is a continuum. At each stage our beliefs we will be tested on all fronts; whether it is to stay committed to your dream? Change degrees or remain in the same degree? Stay faithful to the love of your life? and so on and so forth. In moments, where your convictions are being tested or shaken, stand firm, stay focused and set your eyes on the prize. Continue to reassure yourself that your voice will be heard. Your convictions give you an upper hand and make you stand in the affairs of life.

Build. Build! Build!! Build!!! This year at each stage of your life be a builder. Develop yourself, become better at everything you do this year. Raise the Stake and build for a brighter tomorrow. You have the blueprint, run with the vision and gather all the necessary information to ensure that what you are building doesn’t collapse but rather gains root. Endeavour, to make each month in 2016 phenomenal and pioneering; BREAK NEW GROUNDS! Any ground that is soft in your life is an indication you don’t want to dig deep in life. Build yourself up like an edifice. Take on new challenges, go on new adventures, take up new hobbies, learn something new. Do something today; you’ve got the blueprint. So Build!

Influence. “The key to successful leadership today is influence, not authority. – Kenneth Blanchard

I’d like you to say this statement, boldly and confidently ‘I am a Person of Influence. I am Influential.’ Everybody has a level of influence; it depends on how you use it. Influence is the ability to gain a win-win relationship with people. For you, to become influential, you must be intentional about your desires. Follow through with your ambitions for 2016, don’t procrastinate for one second. Being intentional enhances your level of influence and strengthens your character. When you are a person of influence, the light is on, and your path is clear. Living a life of influence, allows you to create a way where others saw an obstruction. Influence ignites the passion to be different in a world of duplicates.

Make this month of February a defining one. Make It Happen!
Rise To Prominence!

No More Crossroads

Decisions, decisions, decision  Apple's Thought Balloon

It’s amazing how one smart decision can change the playing field of your life, and one other decision can ruin your life. Many of us are at different crossroads in our journey towards our desired future. The question lies, how does one make the right decision to avoid engaging in crossroads in life.

For us to get a better understanding of the word ‘Crossroad’ let us define it. The word “Crossroads” is defined as an intersection of two or more roads. Another definition states, “a point at which a vital decision must be made.”

Our focus is on making a vital decision whenever we are at a critical point in our life whether major or minor decisions. Each time, we encounter a crossroad in our journey towards a brighter day; we must make and follow these signposts and signals to help us be on the right path and not to miss our turning on the road to significance.

Firstly, Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. In our world today, we tend to let our senses move and guide us rather than the Holy Spirit. In a world, full of concepts, ideologies and philosophies; we need the Holy Spirit to guide and instruct us. The crossroads of life welcome us with open arms when we aren’t able to deny ourselves and be guided by the Holy Spirit. One decision, instruction from the Holy Spirit will keep us having that tunnel vision ensuring us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Remember, you can never go wrong once the Holy Spirit guides you. His GPS system is sharper than TomTom or Garmin. Trust Him today and you’ll never go wrong.

If you go the wrong way—to the right or to the left—you will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the right way. You should go this way.” – Isaiah 30:21 (New Century Version)

Secondly, never walk the journey of life alone – Seek Counsel. Life is an adventure; you will never really know what will happen until you take the first step. Each step you take will lead you closer to your desired haven. As long as you continuously seek counsel and guidance from others you will never take the wrong step. Independent living doesn’t mean being void nor ignorant about your surroundings. It’s about being able to seek help and gain clarity in terms of our decision making. Often, people are alone at a crossroads because they don’t want others to see them at their low estate and give them sound counsel. What they fail to realise is that it is this counsel that will lift them up out of the pit of failure to the throne of prominence. The journey of life should never be done alone. People who do the journey of life alone; aren’t willing to open up, receive healing from their past and move forward. In our journey towards our desired tomorrow, seeking counsel from people who are eloquent, informative and excellent. Never do the journey of life alone, it’s dangerous. Be around strong, stable, sensible and sensational people who can bring out the diamond inside of you. Isolation kills; Openness Attracts. Be open to receiving counsel because no man or woman is meant to do the journey of life alone – you need people. Like the film Toy Story says, “You’ve got a friend in me.”

Thirdly, be willing to listen to Instruction. Your willingness to listen is proof that you are a steady learner and willing to adapt to make progress. No one likes to be told what to do, nor does anyone like to be given instruction whether in the right or wrong. However, listening to instruction is so vital if you don’t want to end up at the crossroad of life. One instruction can lead you to your desired haven while one poor instruction can lead you to ruins. The difference maker between part-time success and continuous success is their willingness to listen to instruction. Every instruction is founded on a set order on how things ought to be done and operated. If there is disorder in your life, check you might have disobeyed an instruction that is pivotal to your progression in life. Our willingness to listen to instruction is so vital that there are biblical truths, philosophical truth and psychological truths that test and prove the fact that onus is on you and me to listen to an instruction to move to the next level.
Listen to counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, That you may be wise in the time to come.” – Proverbs 19:20 (The Amplified Bible)

He who learns from instruction and correction is on the [right] path of life [and for others his example is a path toward wisdom and blessing], But he who ignores and refuses correction goes off course [and for others his example is a path toward sin and ruin].” – Proverbs 10:17 (The Amplified Bible)

The unassuming youth seeking instruction with humility gains good fortune.” – Joseph Addison

Fourthly, is Application rather than Data Storage. I’d like to explain these terms, “Application” and “Data Storage”. Imagine you walk into a store, and you have seen an advert of the latest iPad. You know everything about the product (Data Storage) but you don’t have the product to execute your knowledge of the product (Application).  Application, as oppose to  Data Storage means that you move from knowledge to practicality. No knowledge shouldn’t be wasted but should be applied and put into practice. Whenever, you execute your knowledge in any given area in life, your application becomes kinetic energy.  Enabling you to move faster and achieve better things rather than just relying on Data Storage. Application of life’s principles enables you to immerse yourself into deep truths that you can share and demonstrate. Application > data storage. Knowledge is great. Moreover, execution of knowledge guarantees kinetic energy and your momentum are determined by your application to the knowledge you put in. Remember, Your execution of knowledge is proof that you are willing to move faster than your contemporaries.

Today Matters

It was a sunny day, June 21st 2020. The birds chirping and singing – what a melodious way to start the morning. “Ahh”, signed Benson. “Well, good to go”, Benson said in an excited voice. So off he went into the luxurious land of Empire City, commonly known as E.C.

Empire City is a fantastic place as it’s filled with all sorts of attractions, adventure and wow factors. The city is a busy place where people are caught up in the hustle and bustle of life. Whilst in Empire City, Benson was filled with much excitement and enthusiasm. The thrilling moment was when he was able to explore the world city for free for a day. As Benson was in Empire City, he took the Airbus 240 to Opulent Island. Whilst he got on the airbus, he spotted a plane is the sky writing a phrase; ‘Today Matters’. As the words were being written Benson had a glowing smile on his face as he took a selfie with the phrase ‘Today Matters’.

Meanwhile, on the airbus he noticed that each person around him had a newspaper with the heading ‘Today Matters’. Unbeknown to him, he was sitting next to an old man who was a philosopher, and this philosopher had noticed the look of curiosity on Benson’s face. “What’s the matter young one?” the old man asked. Benson replied “Why does every newspaper say Today Matters? Yes, I know each day is important but why does it have to be everywhere! Am I going to die?! I have a life and I’ve got things to do! I need to enjoy the beautiful and luxurious Opulent Island!” – Benson yelled frantically. The old man listening to the words of fear and confusion Benson expressed thought it necessary to speak to him in a calm, gentle and humorous voice saying with a slight laughter – “Young one, take it easy. Your young, stop worrying and fretting about the title.” As the old man spoke, he gave young Benson insight into the meaning of the title. “Young one, the people you see today on this airbus are those who never previously maximised their days and need constant reminders in order for them to live their dream. Many people wander through life unsure of where they are heading. Some don’t even have a clue. Today Matters speaks about you utilising and making the most of your day. Living for a Reason (Purpose) rather than just the moment. The people who are in the hustle and bustle of life in Empire City never really maximise their day, they live average lives and settle for mediocrity.” Looking into the old man’s eyes, Benson saw a vibrant young man who had lived life purposefully and passionately. Immediately, it was a like the light switched on in Benson’s mind and he responded with a soft calm voice: “I want to maximise today. Today matters. I want my day to matter.” The old man smiled as Benson closed his eyes and sighed as he thought about his life. “Young one, don’t condemn yourself too harshly. You too can make today matter.” The old man replied. As the old man was about to leave, he dropped a compass in the hand of Benson and said many people want each day to yield fruit but never value the power of the day and how to make the most of each day. Make today count and you’ll value each day the good Lord gives you.”

As the old man departed, those words stuck with Benson like a magnet. He understood that ‘Today Matters’ is about making the most of each day and refusing to waste it away wishing for another day to come without fulfilling the given day first. So as Benson left the airbus, he began to use the compass as a reminder of what the old philosopher said to him on that journey to Opulent Island.

As we proceed in this piece we see the essence and the life lessons learnt as we are able to make each day of our lives better and esteem it in higher regard. Live for today not for tomorrow. Maximise each given day because to whom much is given, much is required. We are now going to look at the Compass the old man gave Benson to make each day of our lives matter. Use these codes to aid you in creating a formula to make today count:

N – Never despise the power of NOW. Do it now, stop being hesitant and just go for it and do it. The word “NOW” is an active word, it’s an adverb. The power of NOW suggests that you realise what you ought to do at the right time and moment. The power of NOW is not using excuses to delay your day of manifestation. We live in a NOW moment, where people want to do things instantly. Information is at our fingertips and knowledge is shared across the world on a global scale via various media platforms. If you want to make a change in your world and become better in your chosen field – utilise the NOW factor. Your willingness to redeem time is to recognise the power of a “NOW” moment.

Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil.” – Ephesians 5:16 (The Amplified Bible)

Never confuse NOW with later, because what you have the ability to do NOW may not be conducive for later.

S – Start with purpose, not familiarity. “Everything in the universe has a purpose. Indeed, the invisible intelligence that flows through everything in a purposeful fashion is also flowing through you.Wayne Dyer

Any idea, plan, or purpose may be placed in the mind through repetition of thought. Napoleon Hill

Purpose is the meaning to which something exists. Whereas, familiarity is something that stems from our emotions that allows us to be free without having a sense of direction. Each day must be purposeful! Familiarity is what happens when people’s opinions cloud our minds. Familiarity doesn’t allow the true nature of one’s purpose to awake, arise and appear. Each day should start with purpose in mind. The giver of purpose – GOD created you in mind, infused you with gifting’s beyond your capacity to touch a familiar world. People of purpose stand out and are the light amongst people who are familiar. Purpose is the reason why you are alive on Earth – Your life matters. So don’t give any excuse to allow familiar situations or habits to keep you in the same position. God created you for a purpose – Arise and make it happen!

E – Explore New Horizon. The joy of starting a new day is when you take on a challenge to explore new horizons. Exploring new horizons could be you trying out different kinds of foods, travelling aboard, going to social and cultural events to expose your mind to how people in different parts of the world operate and think. Our horizons are adaptable, so it is imperative that we are able to widen our horizon to more effectively approach God, Life, Family, Careers, and Relationships. Each day endeavour to go on a trip or explore a new town, city, restaurant, museum etc. We live in a world full of adventures so why don’t you try to explore it. As Benson went on to explore Opulent Island.

I have an adventures hashtag called #TheAdventuresofOpeyemi because I want people to know I enjoy life and have a sense of meaning of the word. It is important that you seize the moment and make good usage of your new horizons and adventures.

W – Win. As we conclude the codes to make our day exciting, phenomenal and fuelled with passion. Remember that each day we must be willing to win despite the circumstances and be the champion of the day. Life is filled with numerous rollercoasters that go on and on to no end. However, when you enter this phase, be willing to make sure that you overcome and win each day. This last one is to encourage you that no matter how challenging your day is… A winner lives inside of you! Nothing can stop you unless you give it the power to do so. Your day will only matter when you are ready to continuously make a conscious decision to win and to be a winner. The word ‘win’ is an inner confidence that radiates from the inside out! So no matter the challenge, shout ‘I am a winner! I win!’

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” – Romans 8:37 (King James Version)

So my dear friends, make the most of your day. As we draw towards the final months of 2015, ensure that you make each day matter. Live intentionally! Rise to prominence! Break away from mediocrity! Your life matters to God so live a life that is influential because you are full of potential.

Make It Happen!

I Just Can’t Give Up Now

For those who are in the faith-based community or listen to Gospel music, this phrase will ring a bell as it is a song that was written & sung by MaryMary. This phrase was ringing in my heart & spirit from the beginning of the month. We all have things we want to accomplish & to have a sense of belonging & dignity to know we are doing is not in vain. “I just can’t give up now” speaks to you & I.

This is the crunch time, people are going through all sorts & types of changes. In some cases, some are getting better & others well it just seems like a dark cloud over their heads. In spite of all this, keep going don’t quit halfway see & visualize the LIGHT at the end of the tunnel.

So, if you want to make it happen in the journey of life & have a confident heart & Spirit. Repeat these words – iCan, iWill and iMust.

Each of the words are significant in their own word, but the message of not quitting at the last minute still flows through each word. So, let us look at each word….

iCan – utilise our skills & ability. We all have skills & abilities within us, awaiting manifestation. However, in order for them to manifest you must be willing to utilise what you have. An ‘iCan’ attitude is a willingness to do something not just sit down. ‘Can’ is a verb so if you’re on the verge of relinquishing your skills – DON’T someone needs your abilities.

iWill – be intentional about your desire, DON’T BE FAKE. Life’s challenges, circumstances & crisis, can make us fake about our true desires. We make fake desires when we try to keep up with the ‘Bensons’ because their lifestyle is top notch. Unknown, to us, that in most times materialistic items don’t bring value but the life you are touching & seeing a change in your individual life. An ‘iWill’ attitude is being intentional about your desires. Listen, as you read this no matter what crossroad you are in right now. You can still make a u-turn & live to the maximum by being intentional about your desires. Intentional desires come from a willingness to beat the status-quo by being the difference in a changing world.

– iMust – relentlessly pursue the Vision for a desired tomorrow. Make it Happen! Make it Happen! This last one is a chant “iMUST“. You can not pursue what you are not willing to possess. Every GOOD desire you have, be relentless & zealous in achieving the vision you have for your desired tomorrow. The vision in our heart was planted by God, in order to bring us to our desired haven. “He hushes the storm to a calm and a gentle whisper, so that the waves of the sea are still. Then the men are glad because of the calm, and He brings them to their desired haven.” – Psalms 107:29-30 (The Amplified Bible)

No matter, how small nor big the vision for your desired tomorrow is – Make it Happen! The steps you take now, create the future you desire – so make the right choice, get your priorities reset, align yourself with the destiny God has designed for you.

The issues of life may look like mountains that are insurmountable. Always remember, that no pain no gain. The higher the mountain, the higher the Victory.

So no matter the circumstances, “Never, never, never give up.” – Sir Winston Churchill

The Journey Begins….

All Board! Flight OA2548 Boarding at Gate A, Destination – The Journey Begins!” Yelled The Announcer from the tanoy.
James, Michael, Crystal & Francesca looked at the announcement board, as they heard their flight being announced. Their faces lit up, full of excitement & expectancy. As the announcer finished calling out their flight details, they ran forcefully bypassing individuals who were making their way to their various boarding gates.
Eventually, they all arrived at Gate A exhausted & out of breath. Immediately, they got their tickets & passports ready as they took a sip of juice from their bottles aiming to refresh, energise and quench their dry throats.
As they were drinking the juice in their bottles, the flight attendant asked them, “Are you excited about #TheJourneyBegins? Each plane is filled with exciting features & the journey will be adventurous are you willing to come aboard? With an ecstatic & exuberant response they shouted, “YES!” The flight attendant knowing that the 4 friends were close, arranged for 4 different planes & each plane will lead them to the destination of their choice.
As the 4 friends went past security, had their flight tickets checked & passport checked they went through Gate A and saw the plane they were about to board. The flight attended directed the 4 friends to a special allocation of where the 4 planes were going.
James, Crystal & Francesca were filled with enthusiasm about independent travelling & were eager to know where their plane will land. However, Michael was concerned & worried. Although he appeared to be thrilled about the situation, he had doubts & second thoughts about travelling. Michael’s emotion began to emerge & the flight attendant noticed this as he saw his friends board their plane.
“Michael why do you look so disturbed?!” asked The Flight Attendant. “Me, Na, No way I’m cool”, Michael responded with a husky voice. So The Flight Attendant told Michael something that stuck with him throughout the Journey.
“Each plane will go to the destination of their choice, the power to make the right choice, that will lead to the right destination, comes from within. The Journey Begins, every great journey starts with a beginning, make a decision to start yours today.”
Michael’s face lit up immediately, which made him pull the biggest smile ever & with a loud roar he said, “THE JOURNEY BEGINS! Your right! It starts now.” So Michael entered the plane looking back at the airport, his friends & The Flight Attendant embracing & reminiscing on all the fun they had. Michael was determined to face with future without anxiety.
As the door closed, a small chant rang in Michael’s ears, “GO Michael, You can Do it! I believe in you – GOD!” Michael sat down with a righteous smile on his face & The Journey Began!
Wow, this story is proof that no matter what challenges and difficulties you face in life, you can still make it happen & change your world. The Journey Begins is set to take you on a Journey where you have achievement, challenges, trials, pains & most of all – VICTORY. Life is a Journey, why don’t you start yours.
In order for us to enjoy the Journey and set off, here are a few things to consider…..
Be prepared and strategic in what you want to achieve. It is amazing how a new year and the first month in the new year people are so exuberant, determined & focused in what they aim to achieve but fail by the wayside. Remember, he who fails to plan, plans to fail. So each month, day & minute in this year be strategic, do not pursue what will entice you for the moment but pursue VIRTUES, CHARACTERISTICS & MINDSETS that will prepare you for the PALACE and beyond.
Embrace Change. Argh! Change, the 6 letter word we all have a hard time embracing & doing. We all go through some sort of change either good or bad. However, embracing change helps to stabilise your decision making. Seasons come & go but the ability to adapt to different seasons doesn’t. Embracing good change is an indication that you are willing to seek knowledge from those who are intelligent and wise. “Wise men and women are always learning, always listening for fresh insights.” – Proverbs 18:15 (The Message Bible).
Be Grateful. “Let gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel to say your nightly prayer. And let faith be the bridge you build to overcome evil and welcome good.” – Maya Angelou
“At the end of the end of the day, let there be no excuses, no explanations, no regrets.” – Steve Maraboli

“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.” – Eckhart Tolle

One of the most exciting things about any trip either it’s by road, air or sea is the beauty to see new things and being grateful to witness it all. Being grateful is a sign of appreciation. In order for you to say, ‘The Journey Begins’ you must search deep within yourself, and be grateful for the opportunity to see another day & begin something fresh. Many people wonder through life complaining & criticising things knowingly or unknowingly bearing the burdens of life on their shoulders. Whereas, there are others who look at life as an Optimist; each year is a blessing, every month is a joy & every day is a gift. Be grateful!
Febreze your life. Life is meant to have a meaning. Your life must bring freshness to people’s lives. Your surrounding matters, who you are around can influence you – positively or negatively. Febreze your life adds new smells of hope, peace, love & laughter into your life. Endeavour to make this period of your life an interesting one, don’t add things that will make your life stink. “Dead flies can make even perfume stink. In the same way, a little foolishness can spoil wisdom.” – Ecclesiastes 10:1 (New Century Version). To febreze your life, you must be willing to make a conscious decision to remove dead things that limit, hinder & obstruct progress. No one likes to wear dirty old clothes that haven’t been washed for a month; the smell will be emitting FIRE! However, when you go out & buy new fresh, clean clothes it brings joy & satisfaction. Let 2015 be the year to say adios to old patterns & kill them by febreze-ing your life with VIRTUES that BUILD, SUSTAIN AND ESTABLISH you for the future.
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” – Isaiah 43:18 – 19 (New International Version)
For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honourable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].” – Philippians 4:8 (The Amplified Bible)

Life is a Journey, Make It Memorable, Let Yours be Remarkable. All aboard…… #TheJourneyBegins
